I just bought a house in Gurnee over the summer and I wanted a better sight line for my dogs and additional lighting in my backyard. I also needed work on my brick patio as it was sinking. Rick came out to look at the current landscaping and worked with me to come up with a great plan. I couldn’t be more pleased. John, the project foreman was great to work with and kept me updated. I don’t remember the name of other gentleman who worked with John but he was so conscientious about redoing the patio. Can’t wait until we tackle the rest of the yard. I highly recommend them.

We recently had Poul’s help us plan additional landscaping at our home. Rick worked with us to not only conceal an unpleasant view of a cable box in the corner of our yard, but he also suggested specimens that would attract birds and butterflies, one of our interests. Terrific experience! We interviewed several different landscaping companies for help with our hardscape project. Poul’s, and specifically Andrew, was by far the easiest to work with. Not only did they come in with a competitive bid, but spent a great deal of time with us up front, before we even had a contract, helping us figure out exactly what we wanted.

During the project the project managers were on site and on task, handling any issues that arose quickly and efficiently. Even after completion when we had an issue with the filling between some of the pavers, they came back quickly and resolved the problem.

I have been a customer of Poul’s for over 7 years. I trust them 100% for the care and trimming of my trees and I have over 30+ trees on my property. If I ever need to remove or replace a tree, I always consult with them to make sure the new tree will be suited for my soil, light as well as visual benefit. I hired Poul’s landscaping to come to our home to do a Spring Clean Up, Mulching and cleaning of my planting beds as well as removal of distressed plants and replacing with new plantings. He also designed my planting pots for my deck and front entry. My initial meeting with their maintenance supervisor was very professional.
