We signed a contract in early Summer 2014 to replace our outside steps with large blocks, purchase a new tree plus installation, as well as lawn maintenance service. They didn’t get to replace the steps until Spring 2015 which was okay and we can live with that. However, it is now late Fall 2018, and we’re still waiting on our tree and lawn service. I call every year, sometimes twice a year but to no avail. I once got a hold of Brad Lois who said they were going to install the tree “next week”; that was in late Spring 2017. Still. Waiting.

In early June of 2016, I contacted Brad Lois from Finishing Touches Landscaping in Burlington , Wi. to put a 2nd level on our current pond , after spending thousands of dollars, the pond Brad installed is still having problems , I must say Brad is one fantastic salesman, he promised the world , that is until things went wrong. They said our addition to the pond would finished by mid July of 2016 , it was finished late October with problems , leaking , after numerous phone calls an even more e-mails , we are still waiting for Brad to contact us, in one e-mail he did mention that he would have his crew here the following week , we are still waiting ,that was 1 month ago, this is in October 2018. In addition to the pond we had Finishing Touches seal our patio and fire pit area ,well needless to say this turned into a fiasco also, while they were sealing the patio their large container was leaking onto the cement patio they were not supposed to seal , the leak started at the end of our driveway( approx.200′) all the way up to a new sidewalk, we had just installed , and over to the patio. They did try to remove the sealer , but it didn’t work so good. I could go on about this for a long time , but in short words , DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY , not even if it’s a last resort. I would rather do without instead of dealing with Brad of Finishing Touches again.

My husband and I highly recommend Finishing Touches. The owner, Brad Lois, was very responsive, knowledgeable and open to our design ideas. He sought the most cost effective ways to provide the high quality patio and other features that we were seeking. Many of the crew members modeled the same behavior as they executed our collective vision in a helpful and pleasant manner. We often receive compliments along the lines of “wow!” and are very happy with the result.

We have a brand new construction and we wanted to get quotes for patio, firepit, and sidewalk. Hard about this company on the local radio channel 96.1. I met Brad at our home while on lunch, for measurements. We set an appointment to meet back at my property a few days later and he never showed up. Never called me to tell me why or what happened – I had to leave work for this meeting. I have tried to call him a few times to find out what happened and he does not return phone calls. I would not recommend this company as he obviously does not have time nor care for his potential customers.

I became familiar with Brad and the Finishing Touches Landscape Team about three years ago when they became members of the Lakeland Builders Association. As a partner/owner of Renovations Group, Inc., [the home of Sweetwater Builders, Renovators LTD, Preservation Homes & Owner Assisted Remodeling] I got to interact with Brad often on a professional level and ultimately utilized his design and construction services on several projects with great results since.
