This is the second project, although completely different from the first, that we hired Poseidon to do. Always dreaming about having the vernal pond at the bottom of our wooded hillside turned into a “real” pond, we talked with many pond builders. Most wanted to bring in large equipment, take out forty or fifty old grow trees and generally make a mess of our forest. Cory had a different approach, he laid out a plan that would require a full year to complete, working through the seasons. He brought us his in depth research of various types of water gates and then with our approval built a channel to drain the water off. When the bed was dry, his team, cleared the heavy brush growth and fallen trees. They built a over-flow system of stone, which is very attractive, and let mother mature fill our new pond site this spring. We could not be happier! Our vernal pond is large, beautiful and such a joy to look at every morning. We enjoy watching our new flock of wood ducks and mallards. Poseidon treats (with natural products) for leave and debris build up monthly to keep our pond looking great in it’s natural setting. We love it and loved working with Cory, Eric, Jackie and the team. And we didn’t have to lose a single tree!!

After we moved into a home in which attention to landscaping had been long neglected, Posieden did a great job in helping us sort out what was salvageable and what was not. Our neighbors are all delighted that our overgrown landscaping is gone! We have received many compliments. They also facilitated construction of a beautiful stamped concrete walkway to our front door.
We are presently adding a four season room and look forward to having their assistance in giving us a beautiful new landscape to enjoy from our new room. And we have neighbors who are impressed enough to hire them for their landscaping needs.

We USED to spend SO many hours and SO much money taking care of our pond, adding expensive algicide, raking so much muck and algae – until 3 years ago, when I discovered POSEIDON. They have been actually clearing the pond of algae and muck with newer, environmentally sound products – it’s beautiful all year. They show up every month without my having to lift a finger – I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Cory Mann of Poseidon Ponds & Landscaping created a plan for our backyard that includes a miniature pondless waterfall. The design he developed fits our contoured backyard very well and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Cory worked with us to provide an attractive landscape design within our budget. Work was completed on time and at a fair price. I highly recommend this company.

5 Stars to Cory, Jackie, and all the crew at Poseidon Ponds. They took on the job or redoing our garden. After 12 years and many dollars, our garden lacked — it lacked everything. I’d tried but don’t have the knowledge base to choose the right plants and arrange them well. But they do! They also repaired some retaining walls that were giving up.

They worked smoothly and left the area clean. They followed up this Spring with replacements for the few plants that died. Phone calls were always returned promptly. And everyone was always very pleasant.

I will enjoy watching my garden develop and wish Cory’s company great years ahead.

Our once pristine 1/2 acre swimming pond was looking rough – weeds, pond scum and no fish (used to have some 5lbs bass). In short no one wanted to swim in it or even look at it. The Poseidon team did an on-site assessment (worth it) to measure the pond depth and assess the nutrient and bacterial needs. They provided a detailed action plan that was flexible so we could decide what actions we could do ourselves or choose to have the team do others. We installed an aeration system and adopted a monthly nature treatment regiment that has fish jumping and kids swimming once again. I highly recommend Poseidon if you are looking for a nature solution for your pond or lake.
