Evergreen Excavating has done a number of jobs for us. We are a Buddhist temple with 110 acres and a number of buildings. Some of the jobs were major, some minor. In all cases the jobs were done professionally with skill and care. Because we are committed to the environment the requirements are often very demanding.

Evergreen keeps to the project schedule and always accomplishes the project goals professionally and with great results. In Spring 2015, we used Evergreen for excavating a mud basement in prep for a new concrete floor as well as footing drains around our foundation. They worked with us to find the best possible solutions for our site drainage problems, and accomplished additional tasks such as culverts and swales that were a vast improvement to the site conditions. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My wife Linda Lavin and I bought a house on 20 acres 3 years ago. We remodeled the house and hired Bill to dig out a new foundation. Observing how he operated the large excavator like a ballet dancer, I had ideas about reshaping the property. wanting the overgrown ponds cleaned out, with bike paths circling the larger one, and wanting a stone stairway in the hillside, along with 2 stone patios, and the removal of 14 dying pine trees. a year later our property was turned in to a beautiful park like setting. Bills knowledge of the land, and how nature works, helped me design the most efficient, low maintenance property. A good communicator, at a very reasonable rate. he continues to make our dreams come true.

Evergreen Excavating did so much for us over the fifteen years we spent in Columbia County. We started out in a small rental house on 10 acres that Evergreen maintained year round. That led to excavation of a site nearby where we eventually built a home. From that point the Evergreen family was part of ours. They built and maintained our roads, excavated several acres of land and a large pond, cut trees & planted trees, and even handled modest-sized electrics and carpentry work as needed. Year-round, they’re hard-working, honest, reliable. and highly skilled.

They came to my home and completely changed my life! They were fast reliable and very competitive with prices and a pleasure to work with. They performed many project’s at my home ( they built a 40ft waterfall to my pond, drained and cleaned out my pond, cleared out tons of under brush around the property, they prepped the land for two new foundations (garage, gazebo), they put in a hand cut locust fence, planted privacy trees, added top soil and planted grass threw out my property, removed problem trees close to house, made walking paths around entire property, they did all of the lawn and property maintenance, plowed driveway during the winter, added a bocce ball court along with horse shoe pit, built an outdoor work out area)…….. the list goes on and on. I have to say they are the best group of people to take on your excavating and landscaping needs!!!!!! I highly recommend them.
