Foley Landscape Contractors have completed several projects at my home over the past few years, including two Techo-Bloc retaining walls and a stone paver walkway. They also created a large berm and planted several pines. They saved me the expense of purchasing large rocks for a border for the berm by excavating and retrieving rocks already present in the wooded area surrounding my property. Prior to having a wood shed installed, Foley LC excavated and prepared a pad to receive the shed. They also installed a high quality, six foot vinyl privacy fence and coordinated the installation of an in-ground propane tank by working with the propane company to excavate the ground, lift, transport and place the tank and back fill the area. The propane company foreman commented to me that he rarely sees people as skilled with an excavator machine as he did that day. I ran into another customer of Foley’s and she told me when one out of several trees he had planted for her had died, Foley noticed it while passing by and replaced the tree for her without mention of it. She saw him out there one day digging up the bad tree and planting a new one. I think that says a lot about the integrity Foley has and I can’t recommend them enough. Their attention to detail and genuine pride they take in their work is something I wish all contractors had.

Foley landscaping totally transformed our outdoor space. They professionally graded our lawn, designed and installed stone walkways and protected egress windows with intricate stonework. They planted various types of trees, shrubs, and flowers in beautiful arrangements to complement the structural upgrades. Brian is very easy to work with and patiently provided us with several different layouts/ options to choose from. I highly recommend their work and services.

Cornwall is a town/village with a dozen landscapers, most of whom never return a call or e-mail–they’re too busy. Brian Foley responds quickly and efficiently, so we had him do a 42-foot Belgian block curbing in front of our house. His price seemed excellent–I don’t look for the lowest bidder, so I have no comparisons, but it seemed right to me.

We have a neighbor who put in much the same curbing, which gave us the idea, and I watched half a dozen guys work for three days to get it done. Foley’s three workmen did virtually the same job in a single day, and did it splendidly, even bedding the blocks in concrete and mortaring them (which my neighbor’s contractor didn’t do).

What particularly impressed me about the job was that Foley did several excellent details that I didn’t expect but that made the curbing far more attractive and functional than I ever expected. Cleanup was complete and the work was “finished” in every way possible.
