We are so happy we worked with Pacific Pavingstone to do our pool deck. The process was smooth from start to finish. My project estimator, Ken Avner, was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and had great suggestions which helped me keep my project within my budget. The installation team similarly was knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. The pavers look great. I wish I had used Pacific Outdoor Living for everything in my project, they made everything run smoothly, on time and on budget, with no nickel and dime surprises and delays. I have already contacted them about additional work.

I very much enjoyed my experience with Pacific Outdoor Living. My wife found them on Houzz because of their beautiful gallery. We liked the diversity of the photos so we decided to reach out. We remodeled our walkway and driveway, it took 3 days and we couldn’t be happier with it. Our neighbors keep asking us for their contact info, it is a hit throughout the entire neighborhood.

Could not recommend Pacific Outdoor Living or their paving stone division — Pacific Pavingstone — more. I would trust them with any outdoor project for my home. They demonstrate professionalism and have expertise in what they do. We already had our patio redone with pavers from them recently, but we are currently getting a design completed to add some landscaping. We are thrilled and can’t wait to see how it turns out!

We just finished a giant remodel of our backyard and everything from start to finish was excellent! Andrew did a fabulous job with our design and really incorporated the features we wanted and listened to our needs. The landscaping crew was also terrific. We had great communication with the crew and everything was well scheduled and coordinated for maximum efficiency. There was no wasted time and our project was completed in a timely manner. Our project took about 4 weeks to install and we did some regrading, demo, pavers installed, and added new irrigation, plants, and turf too. The crew was respectful and clean as well. We had a great experience and look forward to working with them again.

Before going to them for our paving stones at their subsidiary company we had our landscaping done a few years back. I have to say that what really impressed me most with this were the designers they had. I ended up going with the one who had the most similar style to what i was looking for. i was happy with the project because it fit my budget and still looked good. They took out our old pergola, which opened up the space a lot, put in some nice shade trees, and re did all of the grass. We use the backyard all of the time ever since!

This is a fantastic company that saved our home. They do everything you might need to spruce up your yard, but we needed some hardscape and plants. Very happy with the process they have for clients. I would recommend them.

We were very impressed with every aspect of Pacific Outdoor Living’s service, from the design phase consultations to the final completion of work. If anything, things went TOO fast and we didn’t fully absorb and react to some changes (that we requested. Again, completely on us) before they were implemented. The quality of the work is superb, and we are happy with the results. The crew was responsive, courteous, and completed the work under the amount of time estimated.

After getting a couple of estimates, we decided to go with Pacific outdoor Living, Ken our sales rep. was very helpful designing our backyard, the price was competitive and the job was done on a timely manner, the project manager and the crew were professional and they did a clean job. We are very happy with their work.

Amazing customer service and product! I can’t even tell you how many companies we looked at before deciding on POL. From start to finish everything was great- Zach was prompted both when meeting in person and over the phone and via email. Lalo was on site and was also fantastic to work with. The finished product is exactly what we were looking for and then some. I cannot recommend these guys enough!

After several estimates, we chose this company to do our project. Great choice for once! They are on time, efficient, polite and professional. We had paving stones done the original time (Aug of 2012)…a large area. Then a year later (Nov. of 2013) we called them back to put in artificial turf and another paving stone portion. Can’t say enough good about the work they do. Everyone seems to know exactly what their job is and each is very good on what they do. Would definitely recommend this company. Our house got a “Home beautification” award with our city this year within our “zone”, and also, second runner up for “Home of the year” honors!

Pacific Outdoor Living did a fantastic job on my permeable paver system. I was very happy with the work and the follow up. I recommend them to my friends.

This is a long review but if you are considering a pond/water feature in your backyard it may be worth reading the whole thing:

I called Pacific Outdoor Living (POL) to put a pond in my backyard and backfill my old one (prior owner did the old pond herself and it was horrible and in the wrong place in the garden). I had already gotten two estimates (for which I was charged $100 and $150 each) when a landscape person I am using recommended POL. I was hesitant at first because it’s a bigger company, they have done work at the showcase house and have been featured on HG TV so I figured the price would be out of my budget and much higher than the mom and pop pond installers. But, the estimate is free so I figured I would lose nothing.

Ken, the pond designer at POL, came to my house on a Saturday and spent 3 hours with me talking about what I was looking for in a pond, if I wanted something architectural or that looked like a natural pond, he explained how the pond works, upkeep (minimal), he drew a to scale drawing, outlined the physical area, had stones in his truck so I could choose the shade of them I wanted and the price was within a few hundred dollars of the smaller companies (but the result was worth so much more). Ken left me with a detailed quote and drawing (size of pond, perimeter, multiple levels, 5 underwater LED lights, caves for fish to hide from raccoons, some plants for around the pond, mechanical equipment, etc). The other two companies spent only about 1/2 hour with me, didn’t provide anything in writing and only later did they send an email with a general description of their work. I knew exactly what I would be getting with POL. I had no idea what I would have gotten with the other companies (they estimated 5-7 days while POL estimated 2 and finished in 2).
Lance, the pond crew supervisor at POL and his crew of 4, all employees of POL, showed up on time, didn’t just start digging but explained what would happen on day 1 before they started working, were polite, professional and worked very hard. At the end of day 2 I had a gorgeous pond – it was even more beautiful than I anticipated. The crew (Emilio, Walter and Eliah and headed by crew chief, George) is masterful at pond construction.

Also, the old pond had to be demolished and backfilled which was not a small task and they did a great job with compacting the soil and leveling the grade of area of the old pond.

I cannot recommend Pacific Outdoor Living more unequivocally.

I recently had seismic reinforcement work performed on my rental home which is next door to my own. Because I was so impressed with their work, I asked Alpha Structural to recommend someone to tear out my concrete driveway as well as the area that ran parallel from the street to the alley. They referred me to Pacific Outdoor Living and I could not be happier. They kept in contact with me for the duration of the work, completed it in two days, and sent workmen back to replace white plastic drain caps with brass covers. They were in constant communication, anxious for my satisfaction and have given me a number to call directly to their man, Brian, should any future problems arise. It wasn’t cheap, but worth every penny. This is the kind of company that others should strive to be like. A big shout out to pacific outdoor living and also to Alpha Structural who also did an awesome job.

We’ve just completed a big driveway, garden wall and pond project with pacific outdoor living. We couldn’t be happier with the results!!!

The pond team was excellent. James, George and the rest of the crew know what they’re doing. True pond artists. They were done in three days and gave us a beautiful natural looking water feature that we will definitely enjoy for many, many years.

The demo, masonry and driveway paver teams were also great. They arrived on time, worked hard and cleaned up at the end of each day. The whole process was well planned.- They had trucks lined up to haul away all the debris (the driveway alone is over 2700 sq. ft), another one ready to bring in the base layer for the paving stones, etc. So in other words…. no wasted time. Believe me….You don’t want to be without a driveway for very long.
This crew worked very well together and they genuinely seemed to like one another.

I would highly recommend this company. They may cost a little more than the others, but are well worth it.

Long story short, paid them nearly $30K as the salesman touted they are experts at paving hillside driveways. The owner came by weeks later, right before the project was going to start, and demanded more money and that they weren’t going to guarantee the work (as the contract stated). I ultimately got my money back but it was a huge waste of time.
