Built our pool on an extremely challenging site, with a steep grade that required extra reinforcement on parts of the pool. The owners were always accessible throughout the process, contributing design ideas as well as suggestions on construction working with strict village codes. They even accommodated our needs by doing concrete work in autumn, and finishing the plaster and coping in spring so we were sure it would be ready before summer. The company always responds quickly to questions and requests. The weekly service is excellent.

We hired Haven Pools to build our gunite pool the summer of 2014. Haven Pools was referred to us by our builder. To be honest, we did not shop around for a pool company because we felt that referral from someone you trust is the key of picking out a contractor. I did do research about them online and check out business bureau on their reputations.
Well, now that summer is over….the pool is winterized and covered…..all I am going to say is we made a perfect choice to go with Haven Pools…..we now have a beautiful pool and spa, a backyard that we enjoy…..and that’s all thanks to Haven pools. The pool and spa definitely exceeded our expectations, we have no idea with a budget and limited size backyard……we could have what we now have.
We lived in Nassau county and we don’t have a big backyard…..so it was definitely a challenge to come up with a design that will utilize the backyard……keep in mind that I didn’t have an unlimited budget. I am also very particular to what I like and sometime I could be a pain Patrick and Craig who are the owners of Haven pools worked with us every steps of the projects. They listened to us, we discussed each design together, and they gave us valuable opinions and the best value for our money. They always kept us informed with the progress of the project and always gave us a quote before any work starts.
The workmanship of Haven is impeccable…. Their workers are extremely knowledgeable and professional……I have never worked with any contractors who are as professional/clean/neat/knowledgeable as the people at Haven.
We did hit a few hiccups during the project…..but again Havens pool worked with us in a timely and professional manner to resolve all of the issues even when times the issues were because we had a change of heart.
Most importantly, our pool is beautiful……the work they did…..the design…..the materials……the list can go on and on and on…..Each person…..who was at our backyard was amazed of the transformation Haven pools did …..the pool is truly amazing……I also have to mention that we have a spa/hot tub attached to the pool…..well…..for those of you who are going to buy one of those portable hot tub instead of one built…..please don’t do it……the spa is the best part……..Once you see Haven’s pool design/workman ship ….I think you would be sold.

I hired Craig and his team to construct our in ground gunite pool. Owing to the fact that we are on the long island sound we had to deal with getting permits from the DEC and Haven was extremely responsive and worked hand in hand with the engineering firm we hired to apply for the permits. Craig and his staff were always extremely responsive and available for any questions throughout the construction and after. The pool looks amazing and has already provided a summer’s worth of memories – I would recommend Haven to friends and family.
