Honeysuckle did a great job on a major backyard renovation for us back in 2016. It included regrading, adding sod, building two retaining walls, installing pavers, a new stone stairway to our front door, planting large trees and a number of other items. While most of the work lasted well, the pavers on the top step under the front door began to settle a little. Dutch offered to come back and redo the entire step without hesitation. The added concrete foundation is sure to last for many years. Truly rare to find both quality work and such commitment to service!

Dealing with Honeysuckle was a pleasure from start to finish. The quote, scheduling and contracting was simple and efficient and staff were highly responsive and helpful. Workers were professional and diligent, staying late one night to finish the job. And the finished project, a flagstone patio, is beautiful. They went above and beyond to add a border and lay grass seed, which we appreciated. We will use them again and highly recommend.

I began using Honeysuckle Nursery when I became unable to care for my lawn myself. (The first time I used them I had actually called them in a panic because I was having company that evening and needed my lawn mowed in the next few hours. Even though I wasn’t a customer, they came out and took care of my yard for me.) I have had Honeysuckle Nursery take care of my yard ever since. The job they do on the spring cleanup is wonderful but the fall cleanup is incredible! I have a heavily wooded lot with an amazing amount of leaves in the fall. When they finish caring for my yard, EVERY LEAF has been corralled and removed. Honeysuckle Nursery is a top flight company….I highly recommend them.

We wanted to improve the curb appeal of our house and interviewed several landscaping companies before selecting Honeysuckle. Dutch came out a presented a beautiful comprehensive plan to us that addressed all of our concerns. He worked with us to complete the form required by our HOA to get approval for the project which certainly made things easier on us. The project included new landscaping for the front entrance, a bed with rocks and plants to camouflage a well pump, a bed to enhance the mailbox, a new pathway with pavers to the front door, covering the existing concrete steps with pavers to match, building a retaining wall that wrapped around to the side of the house and setting a stone pathway to the back yard along the side of the house with ground cover. The wall and stairs were hardwired with lights and bronze lights were placed to light the pathway to the entrance. All of the work was done with the utmost attention to detail. The work was completed in a timely manner and the area was left in good condition at the end of each work day. We couldn’t be happier with the result and we have already received many compliments from neighbors about how wonderful the house looks with the improvements added by Honeysuckle. We are very excited to work with them again in the future they have earned our trust and our business.

Dutch and Bill did an amazing job redesigning our entire backyard. We were working with a very small space in Annapolis that was really rather “junky.” Dutch and Bill took the time to understand the vision we had for a pool and entertainment area and made it better than anything we could have imagined. People tell us it feels like a hotel resort when they come over! It’s truly a retreat in the middle of the city. The crew was all great – everyone was incredibly helpful and considerate, and every clean despite a pool build being a messy task. We had the misfortune of having a neighbor’s tree come down recently (terrible timing after 8 years of having a “junky” yard it had to wait and come down when we finished our pool work). Bill was on it for me immediately and was a big help offering to speak to the adjuster and organizing the clean up while we were away. We would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone and everyone!

Honeysuckle did an incredible job on our patio and retaining wall project. Their crew was wonderful – hard working and cleaning up the site each night. We knew hiring them would mean that our project looked professionally done, polished and beautiful, but the finished project even surprised us by how amazing it was. I love the work done by Honeysucle Nursery & Design. I had them building a two level patio, outdoor kitchen and fireplace. The lower level of the patio was around the pool that was being built by someone else. The pool contractor turned out being a disappointment and was let go. Honeysuckle Nursery & Design jumped right in and built the pool that exceeded my expectations. They made certain that I received all of the finishes that I wanted even if it meant driving me around for half a day until I was satisfied. The worker were all very kind and thoughtful, even suggesting an extra step into the pool to make it easier for the dog to exit! I would definitely recommend them if you want the perfect job done within your perfect budget.
