Chuck Grosse, Ken Kirvan and their Del Rancho Pool team along with the supporting sub-contractors did a superb job of modernizing a +20-year old pool. Chuck and Ken meticulously and efficiently managed all of the key events associated with this month-long project. They stayed on schedule and consistently achieved high quality results. My husband and I hired Chuck Groose to work on our pool renovation which included new waterline glass tile, mini pebble tec, expanded Baja shelf and five new water spigots on the pool’s raise back wall. Chuck and his team finished this job in less than 8 weeks and we were very pleased with the final outcome and ease of the process that I decided to have him give our outdoor loggia a facelift as well.

In the loggia, we added tongue and groove wood planks on the ceiling with beams, all three walls were refaced with brick, new sconces went up and they framed out the large opening in wood casing. After the loggia was completed, I said to Chuck, I’m ready to talk with you about my new build outdoor kitchen. I had been planning the outdoor kitchen at length for over a year with the Kalamazoo design department. I had met with two other well known landscape companys in the meantime and didn’t feel they were right for my job. Not realizing Del Rancho does this kind of a project at first because I thought they just worked on pools. When I showed Chuck my plans and went over my requirements for my kitchen space, I just knew he was the guy for the job!!

My full outdoor kitchen is 22×11 and includes all custom stainless Kalamazoo cabinetry and Kalamazoo Bbq, gas cooktop, pizza oven, refrigerator drawers, two under counter refrigerators and a stainless apron sink and travertine waterfall edge countertops. Their is a raised planter that acts as a backsplash the whole length of the counter. Chuck and his team also created a beautiful vertical herb garden adjacent my outdoor kitchen as well as a long waterfall edge bar top with arbor on the other side of the kitchen. In addition to building this large kitchen he also built and installed a large precast fire table and 12’ couch on the opposite end of my property. All of my lighting was installed by Del Rancho Pools too!! The outdoor kitchen was finished in less than three months.

As an interior designer by trade, I work with a LOT of contractors and I was thrilled to work with a company that valued my expertise as a women and met all my expectations in a timely manner. Chuck is now working on our front yard and I can’t wait to see how that turns out!!

I have a 360 degree infinity knife edge pool at my house that has been leaking thousands of gallons of water and I needed to do something about the leak fast. The builder who did my pool years ago disappeared and is known for shoddy work. Multiple leak detectors said they could not locate the leak without ripping up concrete. I talked to several pool construction/leak repair companies who said they would have to change the design of the pool completely in order to fix the leak. People in my network mentioned Chuck Grosse @ Del Rancho Pools for construction work and spoke *very* highly of his integrity and high end pool knowledge so I decided to give him a call. Already having a good impression of Chuck, it only got better when I talked to him and I knew right away he was the guy I should go with. Chuck needed to get creative because the builder did something very dumb in that they did not install a proper “curb” for drainage in the infinite edge channel all the way around the perimeter of the entire pool. Chuck came up with a very creative and cost effective solution by installing a sealed waterproof barrier to keep the water flowing properly into the plumbing. Now that the leak is fixed and my water bill is back to normal I want to thank Chuck and everyone at Del Rancho pool for resolving the leak and keeping the pool with the same beautiful look. You might be able to find another company to design your pool cheaper, but you will not get the quality, professionalism, or continued customer service afterwards. Our project was built on time, exactly as proposed, with no hidden expenses. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
