Our 24+ year-old pool needed repairs and updating, and we wanted to add a hot tub. We sought bids from six different top Tucson pool builders/contractors. Once we saw Carlos Arzate’s design, it was a no-brainer to choose Arzate Design Group to do the remodel.
During the design phase, Carlos asked great questions about how we wanted to use the yard and even took into consideration our view from the inside. The view from my office was of the unattractive pool equipment. He was the only designer to suggest moving the pool equipment to a corner with an awkward angle that made it unusable for anything else, thus solving two issues with one change. He also took into consideration that we intend to stay in the house into our senior years. Carlos Arzate’s design completely reimagined how we could use that part of our yard.
The best part is that the end result looks exactly like the original design images! Now seven months after completion, we’re still thrilled each time we step into our new pool area, and amazed at how it came out.
As with many building projects, the process of getting to the end result was not always smooth. We had to navigate an easement issue that we’d been unaware of, and the pandemic hit in the middle of our construction. Carlos and his crew kept their head through it all (even when I was losing mine!), and they ably maneuvered the obstacles. Shout out to project manager Zac who went the extra mile during a pandemic to get this job done.
The results exceed our expectations. We are so pleased with the work, we hope to hire Arzate Design Group again to create a cohesive design for the other half of our yard. We highly recommend Carlos Arzate and Arzate Design Group for all pool building, remodeling and yard design needs.

I called at least 6 pool companies for a quote on redoing our pool. The project included fixing a large crack, re-plaster, and new pool equipment. Tim Henry came to the house to do the quote for us. The estimate came back within a couple of days and was very thorough and reasonable. They started the project a week later and finished when promised. The entire time Tim would stop by to assess the progress and if I had any concerns, he addressed them immediately. i have received many compliments from my friends and family! I am currently using the company for pool maintenance and am very pleased with the service.

From design through execution, Dynamic Pool Designs exceeded our expectations and made sure that we were completely satisfied with the work. Carlos worked extensively with us on the design to reshape our backyard; Patrick, David and their crews worked tirelessly to execute on that design. Patrick ensured that we understood the pros and cons of rubber mulch (we ultimately went with wood chip) because he knew we had a little one and would want to understand. In addition, Patrick and David personally worked onsite and came to look at things as the project progressed to make sure that all was smooth. Even though the project is complete, the whole crew has been attentive and willing to work with us on small tweaks. I will be getting back in touch with Dynamic Pool Designs when it is time to landscape the front yard!

Tim Henry, and everyone from Dynamic Pool Designs, was a joy to work with. When the plumbing at our pool failed, our pool maintenance company (Boulton Pools, also terrific) recommended Dynamic to repair it. We liked Tim so much we decided to go ahead and renovate the entire pool. Dynamic replumbed, ran new electric lines, updated the pool in general, replastered and resurfaced the deck. They were neat, punctual, polite, cheerful and on budget. To this day, whenever I have had a question Tim has answered it promptly. I could not recommend them more highly.

We had a plethora of well known pool designers and builders to choose from, but we selected Dynamic Pools to build our pool. Dynamic was very competitive in their pricing, but more importantly throughout the bidding process, they were very sincere “no BS” in discussing our requirements, and was very open with the costs v design variations v schedule impact. Throughout the construction process, Dynamic was very much on top of the schedule, and overcame the many challenges that came up. The pool was completed on time, and with a quality that exceeded our expectation. Kudos to Scott and Tim for a very professional and accomplished job. I have no hesitation recommending Dynamic Pools.
