I would highly recommend avoiding this contractor to anyone remotely thinking about using them. Our pool contract was signed September 2017 and started construction October 2017, and has not been completed as of May 2018. There has been multiple properties liens placed on my residence in the process of this project. Contractor stated that this is a normal aspect for the construction business. Contractor has been paid approximately 90% of the contract amount with no pool equipment, plaster and final grading. Contractor avoids any attempts of communication from us either by phone calls, text messages, and emails. Contractor said he had a proposal with another pool company to finish the outstanding pool contracts. After contacting the second company we were told that any work performed by them would be separate from Bravo Custom Pools. Very disappointed in the waste of time, money and trust that we put into this contractor.

My wife and I were extremely diligent on deciding the builder of our pool and outdoor area. We knew this would be a big part of our families summer time and we wanted to make sure we got it right. We talked with many different people in our neighborhood about their experience with their pool builder. It seemed each had different challenges with each builder. We decided to interview 4 different builders and decided on Bravo Custom Pools as our builder. We could not be happier. We are now on our 2nd year with this pool and from the start to the after build support we have had nothing but the best service. I highly recommend Josh and his team and would not even consider using a different pool builder.

Would never recommend Bravo to anyone. Their service and support after the sale was horrible. The worst I have ever encountered. There has been nothing but lies and excuses. Calls and texts are being ingnored unless there is a check to be picked up. Inspections after each pharse were never inspected. Does nothing but collect money and take no responsibility or liability for anything. Is never on site with the conctractors to see what has been done. We have paid 90% on our money and the pool is still incomplete. Wish I could give 0 stars. People beware!!!!

Extremely Disappointed in Bravo Custom Pools.
My family and I recently built a new house. Shortly after move in we decided to have a pool built and contracted Bravo Custom Pools for the build. What was supposed to be an exciting time for my family has turned out to be (and still continues to be) an absolute and complete nightmare, and we are stuck with the financial responsibility of an unfinished pool that has by far failed to meet any and all expectations.

The contract with Bravo Custom Pools was signed into effect on 03/25/2017. After nearly two months of waiting on permits to come back, pool was excavated on 05/19/2017. As I write this review on 01/07/2018, Bravo Custom Pools has been paid in full and construction still has NOT been completed. Construction has well exceeded contract estimated construction time of 58-70 days.

After the initial meeting with Mr. Josh Wilson and design/sales process, customer service and communication became completely unacceptable, unprofessional and frustrating to say the least. The process has been marred by unanswered and unreturned phone calls (often times getting a messages stating that “… was not accepting calls at this time” or “mailbox full”), and unanswered text messages and emails. On many occasions, several weeks have gone by with very little to NO contact from Mr. Wilson. Construction updates have been extremely minimal and most of the time incorrect. We have been lied to and misled regarding scheduling of different phases of construction and been given several different unacceptable excuses and apologies as to reasons for delay. We received several visits to our home from a sub-contractor regarding nonpayment from Bravo Custom Pools and was threatened with a lien against my property.

Not only is our pool not complete after nearly 8 months, but we are now having or have had problems with installed equipment not working correctly (filter pump has been leaking for several weeks and now will not turn on) and substandard work performed by various sub-contractors.

This process has caused my family a great deal of unnecessary stress and hardship. Choosing Bravo Custom Pools has been a completely disappointing and regrettable decision and would not wish the same upon anyone else. I strongly urge anyone in the market to build a pool, please proceed with extreme caution.

I am unable to recommend Bravo custom Pools to any potential pool buyer.

The experience we had with this company was something that I do not wish for anybody to go through. The process was always delayed, dates provided were usually not met. The communication was terrible, days and sometimes even weeks would go by without a response or status update. The treatment we received was wrong, unfair and unprofessional, definitely not the treatment you give to good paying customers. I do not recommend this company.

Dear prospective customers of Bravo Custom Pools:

I urge anyone considering hiring this company to read the recent one-star ratings very carefully before signing a contract.

Not only can’t I recommend this company, I strongly urge that you hire a different company to build your pool. Or go without a pool entirely if it meant choosing between Bravo Custom Pools or nothing.

Our pool was excavated in June of 2017, and as I sit here writing this review, stands unfinished nearly seven months later. Our experience with Mr. Joshua Wilson’s Bravo Custom pools has been marked with abysmal communication, lack of supervision for work done, and egregiously inadequate scheduling. Excuses are made, texts go unanswered, questions are ignored and paying customers are left wondering when, if ever, the project they’ve paid for will ever be completed, long after the term of the contract has expired.

As I write this, Mr. Wilson has been paid nearly in full for a pool that is unfinished, with no communication in weeks. Please ask yourselves: “Do I want to risk entrusting my hard-earned money to a man who has done this to even one of his clients?”

Something that was supposed to be fun and exciting has turned into a nightmare for us. I hope this review can help spare another family a similar experience.
