We originally contacted Coastal Aquatic Creations over seven years ago for a bid on a pool. At the time they reviewed well, were reasonably priced, communicative, and our likely contractor of choice. We ended up holding out for a major remodel in 2018 and circled back to them when bidding out the pool again. Again, they were ahead of the pack in terms of being reasonably priced and lovely to go through the bidding process with. They also had an extensive portfolio which made navigating the sea of options considerably easier. This was especially appreciated once the deep decision making fatigue had set in from the remodel.

I can’t say enough good things about this team, but I’ll try to do some justice:
1) They’re navigation of the rather extensive permitting process was exceptional
2) They held an excellent balance between letting our personal style come through while steering us away from poor decisions
3) Our pool and cover are wonderfully efficient and our hot tub heats up brilliantly fast. Like 15 minutes fast. I love it.
4) The one technical obstacle we encountered was quickly resolved by the manufacture’s field rep, Dirk. He was awesome too and is a testament to Coastal Aquatic’s broader team being so honed.

And last but not least, these are simply lovely people to work with. They do contractors proud and should be the first (and last!) pool contractor anyone talks to before building a pool.

We moved from the Midwest to California last year and after finding the home of our dreams in Los Angeles. We decided it needed to have a pool, something we’re not used to having where we are from. We found Coastal Aquatic Creations online and we selected them to design and build our dream pool from scratch. We really like their clean and elegant designs. We loved every aspect of the process and it turned out great! It’s been great to work closely with Matt on the project, he made every effort to ensure all things went smoothly. Thanks again!!

We just love our pool! Coastal Aquatic Creations did an awesome job remodeling our pool! Our previous pool was in sad shape. We did a complete remodel and we added a spa. Matt and his team of experts helped us plan out the new design and knew exactly what would work best for us. We like to entertain so the size of the spa was especially important to us and we had a lot of questions for the team. They all came through with flying colors. Since the team was onsite daily, we developed a friendship with Matt, Michelle and Drew and we look forward to recommending them to all of our friends and family. Thanks guys for a job well done! I found Coastal Aquatic Creations after interviewing several contractors and I’m so glad I decided to hire them for my pool/outdoor living space.

We wanted to build a pool/spa and a built in BBQ area but really had no clue where to start. From the beginning they were super responsive and communicated with me frequently, which I really appreciated. They gave me a timeline of the build, and surprisingly were on time and at times even a little ahead of schedule. I had questions for them nearly every few days, and made several changes along the way. It never took them longer than the same day to get back to me. Their crew was also incredible to work with. They were polite, hard working, and also great at communicating their work schedule along the way.

If you’re looking for a company who is easy to work with, responsive, and delivers a superb product, you need to hire Coastal Aquatic Creations. I’m so grateful that they helped build our dream backyard. I cannot recommend them enough!

As we were planning our home remodel project and dreaming of putting in a pool, all of my favorite project pics on Houzz were from this company. I never dreamed I would have the luxury of working with them.

But heading into contracting with another firm, we got cold feet and I decided to see if CAC would give us a bid. From the first interaction I got the sense that I was talking to folks who really knew their stuff, and their customer experience was excellent right out of the gate.

Each step of the project was executed exactly as described, for the precise cost and timing that was outlined. Always courteous and punctual, they put the best craftsmen, materials and equipment into our new pool. Fast forward a few months and the pool Coastal Aquatic Creations built for us is exactly what we dreamed. It’s the gem of our beautiful new home.
