In the wake of an oil tank remediation, our front lawn and surrounding property resembled a large mud field on the surface of Mars. Needless to say we needed to re-landscape our property. It is actually not easy to find someone who will create a full plan, and we ended up speaking with multiple supposed “landscape architect firms”. However, once we met Ed Clark, we immediately knew we found the right person for the job. Ed brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise and a true love of nature. He came to our home and spent several hours assessing the property and all the elements that impact it (sun, wildlife, shade, soil, etc. ) Ed took the time to factor in detail drainage, angle of the sun and made appropriate suggestions to fauna selections and stone that would match the neighborhood. All of Ed’s observations were summarized in a formal engineering draft map of the solution.
Ed project managed the installation of an entire irrigation system, beautiful new stone steps which the workers from Wicklow and Laurano installed with extreme precision. Even the disposal of the old railroad tie walkway and soil was finished with a minimal problem and mess.
Some people definitly have an eye for these things. Ed is one. Peaceful in nature, he always kept his crew on task. Additionally, and of no particular significance he bears a striking resemblance to Clint Eastwood.
We honestly can’t wait for the Spring to see everything flower. 1000% recommend Ed. Spring photos to follow.
