We decided to install a pool late in the summer last year and began researching companies. We had several come out to give us bids and decided on Lucent. They weren’t the cheapest or the most expensive bid we’d received but they did have the most experience in their field as well as were the most professional so with our informed decision, we hired Lucent. Any time we had a question prior to the groundbreaking as well as during the installation, they answered immediately. We were never left hanging for days like we were with the other contractors. From the groundbreaking to the day of completion, it was nothing but a professional experience. It’s a daunting task to have something as tedious as a pool installed but we can honestly say we did not, at any time, feel overwhelmed because Richard or Justin were always present to answer questions and kept us informed every step of the way. Our pool is seriously the most beautiful one in our neighborhood and by the end of the project, Lucent had contracts for three houses on my street. Since we had them install the pool, we also decided to have them install an entire backyard experience and we could not be happier with the result. It looks absolutely incredible! Magazine-like results! We HIGHLY recommend Lucent Pools.

We hired Lucent Pools to construct an outdoor kitchen, bar, fire pit and built-in planters on our rooftop deck. The two partners were professional and courteous and really took ownership of the project. They were on site whenever any work was being done, they stuck strictly to the initial budget they had given us (even throwing in extra tasks like installing lighting fixtures we bought without charging us). They were very helpful coming up with a design; we didn’t know exactly what we wanted, and they provided plenty of ideas without overwhelming us with options.

It looks fantastic now, and we are really enjoying our new outdoor space. The only down side I can site is that it took nearly twice as long as originally estimated. We had a few brief weather delays, but I think the fact that they do most of the labor themselves, while it gave us comfort, also limited the amount of time they could spend working on our project. There were stretches where no work was done and we didn’t always know when they would show up exactly. We weren’t in a rush so it was no big deal, but I think if they want to grow their business they will be forced to outsource more of the labor.

Lucent Pools built a therapy pool for me about a year ago. I gave them my ideas and they drew up plans that I was very pleased with.. All work was supervised, I have received excellent service during the building of the pool and at the present. Concerns I have are taken care of immediately. I have been very pleased with Lucent Pools, and would recommend them to anyone.
