I had a very difficult experience with Quantus Pools. Still having it. The project took more than 2 years and I was promised that it would take less than 6 months verbally. They will not put anything in writing but ask for your payments well in advance. I have met the owner Jay only once and he never even replied to my emails. The other people that work for him are nice people but all they do is explain the delays.
After all that delay they also did a terrible job on the patio. Pavers are already moving, sanding is not complete, and there is a concrete hole under the kitchen counter base. They have started abusing me for completing the payment so they can take care of these issues in April of 2020. We are in December 2019.
I do not recommend them at all for construction.
Their management company is a different story though. The head of the management is responsive reasonable and despite all the negative experience in building I will stay with him.

We’ve had a terrible experience with Quantas. We are almost 1 year into our pool project overall and 6 months from initial digging and our pool is still not complete. We’ve not changed the scope of our project at all, so the delays are 100% related to Quantas’ inability to stick to a schedule. Most of the time we don’t know when a crew will show up, and when our sales contact does try to give us an idea of when work will get done, it always happens weeks late. We’ve already lost the summer and I’m not sure the pool will be complete by winter at this rate. This experience has been beyond frustrating.

Quantus does excellent work with high craftsmanship. They helped with some interesting features including a deeper area for swimming laps and a resort style hot tub. They also helped work with me to build a pool house that draws raves from all who enjoy time in there. We did have some project delays which I have found to be relatively common in this sector. There were some personnel issues that were addressed to improve communication. Great product, process could use improvement. Jay is a very honest guy and helps get things done.

I have been using Quantus Pools since they first began, and I can honestly say I have never dealt with a more honest, professional, reliable company! Every single individual is friendly, knowledgable, and works very hard to make sure my pool is always looking its best! Any time I have had a problem, they come right out and do whatever it takes to solve it. I would never consider using any other company to take care of my pool!

In searching for a pool company to build our third pool, we were pleasantly surprised to find Quantus pools. They planned our pool in an efficient and professional way. Our concerns were addressed and communication lines always open. The staff made themselves available for our selection process and guided us to a beautiful finished product. We would highly recommend Quantus Pools to enhance your backyard with a pool of the highest quality and beauty. We look forward to enjoying our pool for many years and know we will have wonderful service from the professional and courteous staff.

I’d really like to give this company a great review, but I just can’t. The upfront process with sales, including the design, was great. I also can’t say enough great things about the maintenance crews and their management, they are fantastic. But the construction process is a disaster which is really sad because their quality is fantastic. While I understand the challenges of Covid, our spa has now been installed for over a year and we have been waiting for simple things to get closed out. Some have, like our air blowers and finally the Pentair controller after a full year of waiting. We still don’t have our hand rail or automatic cover and I’ve tried for months to get status. No one calls back and no one ever answers the phone that can answer any questions

We signed a contract with Quantus Pools and paid a sizeable deposit in May of 2021. Our pool was just completed in August of 2022, over ten months later than the originally communicated completion date. The complete lack of project management and communication throughout the project was astonishing. HUNDREDS of communications (texts, emails, phone calls) went unreturned, often for weeks at a time. I became the de facto project manager for our pool build. I could detail the excruciating timeline in a lot more detail, but the complete lack of communication is what really stands out. They also knowingly installed equipment other than what was specified in the contract (wrong heater, wrong auto cover color, different equipment manufacturer) without any discussion. Ultimately they had to replace the auto cover and the heater. While they eventually made everything right, it took entirely too much time, effort, and frustration to get there. I would strongly recommend avoiding Quantus. If you do build a pool with Quantus, I would recommend ironclad language in the contract with guarantees for delivery dates and penalties for missing these dates.

I have firsthand experience with other recent customers of Quantus, and their experience has been similar to ours. Timelines extending well past the planned dates, no communication, etc. You’ll note there are many negative reviews posted in the last couple years. Many of these reviews have a response from ownership of Quantus pointing the finger back at the customer. This doesn’t surprise me, as the tone from the ownership of the company was frequently argumentative and defensive. I never felt like a valued customer paying a hefty price for a new pool. While their maintenance and construction divisions are separate, I had negative interactions with both sides of the company. It appears they are actually two separate companies operating under the Quantus name. I wouldn’t choose to work with either again.

We don’t normally take the time to write reviews such as this, but I would have appreciated this information before I signed my contract.

Jason (Jay) McFarlin and Matt Polich take your money and are non-responsive after that. We signed our contract in June of 2020, and our project has yet to be completed. They have all of our money and are nowhere to be found. The only responsive person is the maintenance manager, Ken Skippergosh and his maintenance team. The problem is that we’re told they are 2 separate entities and they can’t control what happens on the construction side. We’re still missing our pool cover, lights, spa covers, vacuum and filter that have been paid in full for MONTHS. It’s not worth the money and stress to have to chase these people down to finish a project that you spend so much money on. The sales and construction departments are crooked and are just terrible business people overall!

Same experience as others below – terrible (to say the least!). We are over 9 months in and yet still not a completed pool. When you go with a higher cost company like Quantus you expect better quality, service and delivery…..and they failed miserably! Communication is almost non-existent and when they do provide information, it’s untrue. If you like hearing “end of this week or next” for 10 straight weeks – then by all means, go with these guys.

Water went in first week of October with a long punchlist of items still needing to be completed. It’s now mid-December and not a single thing from that punchlist has been completed or even attempted (not even low hanging fruit like delivering skimmer pole and attachment). All this with zero contact from them….they truly do not care about their customers which is disappointing.

I don’t want anyone considering putting in a pool to have the same experience that we did – it shouldn’t be an aggravating, frustrating experience…..save yourself some time and look elsewhere for a different contractor!

Talked a great game but retained $5,000. 00 deposit, missed all the ‘start dates’ and refused to return deposit. Awful

Quantus Pools completed our back yard dream pool with trex deck and unilock Hardscape. It is a salt water pool with year round spa that spilled over into the pool. The design part was easy. Jay was creative when we read into village and septic challenges and was able to problem solve everything so we could have our dream backyard. They did a beautiful job.

We would highly recommend Jay and his team at Quantus Pools! They built us a one of a kind awesome pool with water slide, waterfalls, grotto, and hot tub. They also built our beautiful outdoor kitchen and installed all of the stone patio. Jay was on site every day they were installing it. All of his employees do such a great job!
