BACKGROUND – Siobhan is a designer and artist who has been working in the exterior design field for 18 years. Previously, she was an creative/ art director for advertising agencies. Bruce, her partner is a multi-dimensional designer who does the 3D design Master Plans. Their complimentary talents mesh well and together they create amazing holistic spaces. They have developed a special system called C.A.T.S. (color, artwork, texture and shape). Behind landscaping, they also have expertise in other areas including; veggie gardening (backyard raised beds/ edible food forests) container gardening, pool design, shade solutions, transforming outdoor rooms and patio spaces. OUR PROCESS HAS FOUR PHASES 1. Rough Plan 2. Master Plan 3. Estimating 4. Supervision of the installation How does the process work? a- We start the process with the Rough Plan, includes possible plants and hardscape elements. NOTE: This phase does not include plant counts and sizes. – A Rough Plan is similar to a planning sketch for a new house. Master Plans b- The Landscape Master Plan- is a comprehensive design plan, showing every last detail of your space, from which the the estimate is procured. – Includes plant sizes and counts. Can include exterior design recommendations relating to artwork, furniture, lighting, etc. – Cost- Starts at $475 for either a SIMPLE front or backyard for landscape, hardscape is additional. Complex plans run in the thousands of dollars. c- Hardscape Master Plan- Hardscape consists of the non-living elements of landscaping, such as a brick patio, a stone wall, or pergolas/ arbors. – Common examples of hardscape materials include concrete, brick, stone, wood, and metal. Prices vary depending on complexity. d- Working Drawings Detailed drawings for custom built elements such as pools, outdoor kitchens, construction of structures such as covered patios, decks, sheds, etc.. – Prices vary depending on complexity.
