Don Nesmith | Principal CEO and Founding Landscape Architect For the past forty years, Don has practiced landscape architecture in the Washington DC area. After graduating from UMass, Stockbridge School of Agriculture with a major in Landscape Construction, Don decided to further his education at the University of Georgia. In 1970 he graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, a five-year curriculum which he completed in three years. Don worked as a landscape architect for VVKR Inc, Harry Weese & Assoc., and Greenhorne & O’Mara. Don was responsible for projects involving public parks, historic restoration, and private gardens including design awards for McLean Central Park, and Sully Plantation Restoration, a joint venture with two close colleagues. Don and company now direct their design talent towards the upscale residential clientele.
