We contacted Kirk in June 2018 to design a pool for us and add a lot of pizazz to our backyard. We gave him lots of “constraints” for him to include in our design – spa/pool, big enough to do laps, water feature, new grill & dining area on the side of the house, larger fire pit, variable shade structure, rough cost, etc. Kirk’s team came and got detailed measurements of the house/lot. We did our first 2D conceptual review in August. Kirk and his team had a number of good ideas. We hired him to do a 3D design which we got about 3 weeks later. He made many changes from the 2D to the 3D. We really liked his 3D design and ended up building most of it (had to make some changes to meet HOA guidelines). We continue to get many compliments on our backyard and are very pleased with our outdoor living area.

We were looking to create a complete outdoor living space that was functional but uniquely ours. We discovered Bianchi Design online and and I immediately knew Kirk had a special vision. Easy going and very pleasant to work with, he transformed our ideas into amazing concepts and wasn’t afraid to push boundaries. His attention to even the smallest detail is what makes the difference. The completed project is beyond our expectations and my wife and I are extremely happy with the results.

It’s hard to put into words the transformation that took place in our outdoor space thanks to Kirk and his brilliant design talent. Kirk used his incredible gift and turned our pool, patio and BBQ area into an absolute work of art. He listened to our goals and incorporated all of our wish list items as well as a few unexpected surprises. Kirk is a master of his craft. I found Kirk after I purchased a new build in Arcadia Light which had space limitations in the backyard. I had three other highly rated pool builders draw up a concept in addition to Kirk but there simply was no comparison to his design. He used every inch of my backyard to create a final product that was astonishing. He was also engaged in the entire process and found multiple mistakes or oversights by the pool builders that were fixed immediately. He is extremely detail oriented and looks at his work as art and not just another job. If you’re looking for something unique and extraordinary, you’ve found the right man for the job.

When looking for help, we knew that we needed a true designer first, not a builder (that does design). We needed someone that really understood the big picture and that could see how all of the elements should come together in a cohesive way, to create a beautiful space that we would fall in love with.

What Kirk created for us isn’t just a pool with some plants and lighting thrown in for embellishment. He gave us a work of art.

I would like to write my highest recommendation for the incredible backyard that Mr. Kirk Bianchi designed for us. After an extensive search for pool designers, Kirk’s portfolio of prior work immediately impressed us and we were eager to work with him.

After we met with Kirk and discussed our goals for the pool and backyard, he took about a week or so reviewing our custom home plans and visiting the land we were building on to get a firm understanding of what we envisioned. Our very first review of his initial concept provided an incredibly smart design that worked perfectly with limited land availability and flowed incredibly well with our modern home design. Having requested a slight adjustment to the pool design itself, his second revision was all we needed to see before signing off on it. His eye for small details absolutely blew us away.

Seeing the design on paper was impressive and built up so much excitement for the finished product. Well, here we are a bit past a year of living in our new home, 2 swim seasons in the books and we are still absolutely in love with the backyard Kirk designed. We have received nothing but compliment after compliment for our pool and use of space in our backyard.

With that said, now that we have allowed this time to pass, I can say without a doubt that no better pool could have been created that caters so well to our style, functionality and architecture. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had to privilege of working with Kirk and would highly recommend his services.

Having reached a point in life whereby we cherish living within our personally designed environment, Kirk has transformed our backyard from ordinary to extraordinary. Kirk is truly a professional in his ability to interpret client tastes and desires to generate breathtaking living spaces. Using state of the art design software, he was able to put in picture our design as it developed. It is uncanny the resemblance of the rendering to the final product. There were no design surprises. Construction was a pleasant experience due to Kirk’s philosophy of staying actively involved with his subcontractors throughout the process. It has been almost two years since Kirk completed our “Resort” creation. We continue to enjoy it every time we raise the blinds. Kirk deserves a 10 in our book.
