“Beyond Our Wildest Dreams”! After years of research and meeting with various companies, we found Alderete Pools and Solar. We knew from the first contact that this was “Our Guy”. Aldrete’s professionalism and knowledge brought us to a meeting of the minds.
Our first endeavor was Solar Panels. After thorough and timely installation, our utilities were reduced by 85% – 100%. We have even received CREDIT in some months. As well as the tax break for 2018. It will pay for itself in no time.
On to the pool remodel. Ray saw our vision and created our dream backyard. The expertise and quality of workmanship was like watching a team of artist. The team was always conscious of existing landscape and took extra precautions to avoid any potential damage. Alderete completed every last detail in record time leaving no questions unanswered. We highly recommend Alderete Pools and Solar. We sincerely appreciate every effort they offered us. Unfortunately, I can’t figure out how to attach a photo to show the fantastic work they did. I will take every effort to do so in the near future.

The Alderete Team is fantastic. They were detail oriented, professional, and always on time. There were no surprises, other than good ones. They kept to the stated budget. Ray and/or Tim were often onsite although they had to travel from San Clemente to Long Beach to work on our pool. They were patient with our questions. I would use them again, but I am hoping that we have this pool for many years to come (that is what you get for building such a fine product), so that I may never have an opportunity to use them again. I would, however, highly recommend them.

Alderete Pool team was exceptional! The owner Ray was always stopping by to make sure everything was being done right. Toby, his son was always helping where ever he was needed and Tim was making sure we understood each step. The team really was top notch from the very first steps till the last, explaining how to work it all. Everyone was very respectful, hardworking and they got it done when he said he would. FYI, his paver and coping guys are awesome. Would highly recommend them anytime. If I could give 10 stars I would.

We had three quotes and decided on Alderete Pools not because their quote was the best, almost, but because Ray was diligent, direct and honest. We had decided on Alderete Pools but thought we could get a few more months out of our current system. Fate had other ideas and with a broken/worn filter clamp that was no longer being made we were forced to move faster than we had planned.

Ray, his son and staff were quick to get everything done in one day so we didn’t have to wait and watch our pool turn green. They answered all my questions, we very patient at showing us everything we needed to know and even gave me a great resource for a pool guy in our area who knew our new system well. We cannot say enough about how easy it was to work with Alderete Pools, when we are ready to remodel our pool they will be our only call.

The Alderete team did a terrific job putting I our new pool and spa. Ray Alderete was one of the first contractors that we met with the discuss our thought for installing a pool. Ray gave us great insight into what we should expect and the costs associated. We had a plan drawn up and contacted several pool contractors and put the job out to bid. Alderete was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. They responded to all our questions in a prompt business like fashion. The reason I went with Alderete is because Alderete has been in business for many years and they have perfected the art of pool building to insure the project is run in a smooth and efficient manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Alderete and can say that it has been a pleasure working with all of the team members, including Ray, Tim, and Toby and special kudos go to the guys who work so hard to make sure the customer is happy, in our case Victor and his crew. I have never seen a group of people work so hard in my life. They are an all-around great group of guys that will do everything in their power to make sure you get the pool you want.

We used Alderete about a year ago for our solar and they did such a great job, we decided to price them out for our yard remodel as well. We were very happy with the job, they were able to listen to our needs and turn our dreams into reality. We did pavers, coping, quartz pool finish (highly recommend!), a custom fireplace, and a bbq/kitchen area. They were very reasonable compared to our other quotes, and they stuck to their quote, they didn’t add on things throughout the project. Their workers show up on time (if not early) and they worked hard to complete the job in a timely manner. We were even ahead of schedule! They also did a great job on their clean up. We were very satisfied and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I found Alderete Pools by doing research on internet for pool builder. I have many friends and neighbors who built pool or remodeled their pool not one of them could give me a go ahead to use them. After we recieved permit it was 71/2 weeks from demo to water in my new pool! We kept thing “something is gonna go wrong” but nothing ever did. Building a pool should be a fun stress-free process, and it was using Ray!

We hired Alderete Pools for our new home. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience in working with Ray Alderete and his entire Team. Ray is honest, fair, hard working and most importantly produces the best pool/spa workmanship in Orange County in my opinion.

Alderete did an excellent job on our remodeled pool and spa. They made great recommendations and finished the project ahead of schedule. They went above and beyond our original scope and assisted with other projects in our yard without charging extra. We are very satisfied with the Alderete team and would highly recommend to others looking to upgrade their pool and/or spa.

Ray and his team at Alderete Pools were incredible. Although Alderete’s prices were in line with other pool companies, I chose Ray because he was not pretentious and he listen to my concerns and issues. Not only did his team show up everyday, they were on time and left the jobsite clean at the end of each day. As with any job, issues arose and changes had to be made, but Ray and his manager Tim handled each issue/change, and the resulting cost changes were more than fair. They were extremely patient with my indecision on the tile, grout and PebbleTech and their expert advice was spot on. My pool and spa are amazing and I would recommend Ray and Alderete pools for any remodel or new pool project without hesitation.

I have a very large older pool that needed new WHITE plaster. I selected Alderete Pools largely because a neighbor had used his services TWICE and I observed his workmanship and speed of completion first hand. Shortly after the job was completed the plaster began to discolor dramatically and continued for several weeks while Mr. Alderete and the plasterer determined the cause.
Although an exact cause was never determined Mr. Alderete offered to re-do the pool at NO COST. On his best recommendation I decided not to use white plaster again and went to white pebble. Best decision of the entire process. Mr. Alderete only charged me for the difference in cost between white plaster and white pebble and did some additional tile work at no cost to apologize for my inconvenience.
While I would have preferred to avoid the hassle of doing this very messy job twice, I found Mr. Alderete’s commitment to his word and his workmanship to be unusual and refreshing. Mr. Alderete no doubt lost a good bit of money on my pool but he stood behind his promise to complete my pool to my satisfaction. I have remodeled several homes and dealt with countless contractors and it has been rare indeed to deal with someone in this business with this level of integrity.
Mr. Alderete and his company have my appreciation and admiration. I would recommend his company to anyone. P.S. the pebble finish is perfect (and because they use an additional step in pebble finish there is no roughness on the surface…..a complaint I encountered many times while researching the use of pebble finishes)

Alderete Pools installed my pool and spa 7 years ago. They did a beautiful job with my total backyard, from the pool and spa to the waterfall, rock work surrounding my pool, concrete patio with drains and underground wiring systems and also including a slide that has withstood the test of time.
I had problems this past year and half with pool light system, that our pool maintenance man just couldn’t get to work for any length of time. I called Ray Alderete to see what he thought, and he took on the problem. Realizing replacement parts for my old lights weren’t doing the job, he got in touch with the manufacturer and worked an excellent deal for me to get new upgraded lights for my pool and spa at a phenomenal price, with Alderete and the manufacturer installing the whole new system. I have beautiful lights again in my pool, 7 years later Ray took care of this old customer so no more continual problems.
