Chris did landscaping in our backyard and installed a stone pathway and patio under our large, mature oak tree. We were very concerned about harming the tree in the process, and he offered an innovative solution that did not require placing the patio below grade. The landscaping involved removing overgrown bushes, grinding out stumps and planting azaleas, ferns, arborvitae, etc…along with laying river rock in a low area in the yard. He also installed spot lighting to highlight our mature oaks and lighting along the path to the patio. We are very pleased with the job that they did.

We absolutely love our front and backyard paved walkways that Chris Barnhardt and his crew installed. Working with Chris and his crew was an excellent experience. They arrived ON TIME and worked diligently to be sure the walkways were completed as promised and exactly as we discussed prior to the beginning of the work.
While we have a list of landscaping ideas we’ve discussed with Chris, he was quite comfortable doing the job in stages as our finances allow and that is a BLESSING.
They cleaned up after themselves each day and left our property as it was when the job began…

After considering several landscaping company, I met Chris and he was very knowledgeable, and provided me with the perfect lighting design for my front yard. The Barnhardt team was extremely collaborative in their approach with me. I wanted certain features in my design and Chris exceeded my expectations with the final product! I had an abundance of plantings that I wanted to complement the hard scape and the team nailed it. The design they created, truly captures the aesthetic I was looking for in my new garden retreat!
