We hired John to do stone work on our front steps and garage floor. John did an excellent job and we are very pleased. He is professional and a gentleman. He did a clean job and communicated well with us on when he would or wouldn’t be at the job. My neighbor hired him to do work at their house. I can’t say enough about John and his helper. John took on an unusual and challenging job for us, rebuilding a steep and eroded embankment staircase in a remote wooded area. While a few other landscapers had been pessimistic in their assessments, John approached the task as a craftsman with creative ideas and unparalleled confidence. He presented design alternatives with different costs for us to choose from, and solved a series of difficult design and installation problems in the interest of preserving the natural environment. When completed, we had a set of durable steps, restoration and stabilization of much of the erosion, along with a sturdy hand railing for added safety — all without damaging a single tree or shrub. John and his associate were a complete pleasure to deal with at all times, and his price was more than reasonable. John was fabulous! When I initially contacted him to repair my chimney, he immediately responded and came right out to assess the work and provided a very reasonable quote. He gave me a timeframe for when the work would be completed, and he kept to that timeframe. He did top-notch work, and after he cleaned up and left, you would never know he’d been there (except for the beautiful new chimney). I’d hire John again in a heartbeat!

The top 12 rows of of our chimney had come loose above the pan and was leaning. We had John come over and he spent a while explaining just what he thought had happened and how he recommended fixing it. We hired him and he showed up on time every day, worked clean and safe and left us with a repair job that blended into the old brick beautifully. John knows his stuff and I would have no problem hiring him again.
