Bill Kucas and his crew are not only informed, efficient, totally talented but they are really considerate and friendly. Garden makers did a huge landscaping job for our farm including installing 33 ever green trees and fruit trees, the fruit trees produced delicious Asian pears and peaches the first year and the the ever greens are huge 9 years later and still thriving, Recently we moved and had a small job creating a garden in our tiny back yard at our Princeton Victorian house, he suggested boulders, bushes and trees to block out the cars, he created a wonderful path and stepping stone that was massive and perfect, he gave this job the same kind of expertise he gave to the huge job on our farm. He’s a great guy and really smart, funny and kind. His crew is delightful and obviously like working for Bill. Highly recommend him.

Bill and Garden Makers designed and installed my small city garden in 2003. I asked for a sitting area, koi pond, place to grill and wanted Sweet Bay Magnolia. Bill is a genius. He sited the pond close to the house with a bridge over to the sitting area. I can enjoy the Koi from inside the house, the balcony above as well as while in the garden. The garden is still great 13 years later.

We love Garden Makers! We have done multiple projects with them…our first in September 2013, our second in 2014 and a smaller project at a different location (Sea Girt) in 2015. Our first project was to re-do the front landscape of our home; including a new front walk (with old, used bricks) and new plantings. People continue to stop and comment on how the new landscape transformed the house back to it’s original beauty. It is so elegant, and, although new, it looks like it has been here forever, in this very mature neighborhood in Princeton.

Bill has amazing talent as it relates to design. We particularly love working with Bill because of his attention to detail. He comes to meetings interested in listening to what your vision is, and always makes suggestions that make sense. He provides a detailed estimate in a timely manner. His crew shows up on time and care so much about your project. You will not find a more lovely crew to work at your home.

Bill Kucas and his team at Garden Makers are the absolute best in the area ! We have been doing business with them for over 16 years. We moved into our new home with an empty yard. Bills ideas for our property have been evolving almost annually with something new almost every year. Everything blooms at different times so there is always color. I’ve never considered using any one else in 16 years…he’s the best !
