DISHONEST. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HONOR THE EQUIPMENT WARRANTY THEY GIVE TO CUSTOMERS
I replaced a cover and upgraded pool cover equipment thru this company in May of 2017. The owner’s manual stated that the motor is waterproof, so I did not worry about it during the flood that Irma brought to Georgia. The motor was submerged in water only for a couple of hours , which, as per company’s warranty should have been OK. Shortly after the flood , the motor stopped working. This company refused to honor the warranty for the motor ($1400 value), stating that my motor was not water proof, despite of what their owner’s manual had stated. I’d like to add that they advised to replace a perfectly working motor that I had for for over 7 years because the new one would last me longer. They also took my working motor. This company has a monopoly on GA market and this is the reason they think they can treat their customers they way they do.

We purchased an automated pool cover from this company about 7 years ago at a cost of about $7,000. The installation was fine and the product works with some issues. The MAJOR ISSUE is with the HORRIBLE SERVICE .

About 3 years after we installed the cover, it would not close. When we called to get it repaired, it took them over 2 weeks to get us on the calendar. We described the problem over the phone and they said it was probably a bearing and the cost would be about $280. We thought the warranty should have covered it, but they said the warranty didn’t cover labor. OK, come fix it.

When they got here they fixed it but then tried to DOUBLE the price. The service guy was fine, but the owner was completely unreasonable and extremely obnoxious. We argued back and forth for a couple days and we finally agreed to meet in the middle on price.

Forward 3 more years and we have the same problem. NOW they won’t even service the pool because didn’t let them gauge us on price last time.

So, we have a $7,000 product and the owner won’t service his own install. KEEP LOOKING !! This is not the place you want to make a huge investment. DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE HIS CUSTOMERS !

All my dealings with this company have been as expected. First, the installer was very friendly, easy to talk with and knowledgeable about the pool cover and the install process. He made me feel that he knew exactly what he was doing and had done it hundred times before. The work was done timely and with a high standard of quality. The pool cover works exactly as it was sold. It keeps leaves out of the pool and makes sure we don’t have anyone accidentally fall in the pool. The automatic poll cover was worth the money!!
