I think everyone has heard of the nightmare contractor stories. However, we’ve been so fortunate to have Angel, Sal and the rest of the crew working on our remodel. During the pandemic, we built a pool, totally redid our hardscape in the front/back yard, built a BBQ island, and remodeled inside our home as well. From day one, Angel has been very communicative with not only us, but the other two contractors that we had working on our home.

When problems arose, specifically, we had some discoloration with our retaining wall and the stucco didn’t match the exterior of our home, he was quick to address the issue. In fact, he went as far to hire the same company who did our exterior home stucco to get the exact match at no cost to us. Also, when we had some issues come up with our HOA, he participated on our zoom meeting to help resolve any concerns our HOA might have had.

Even though, we’re not completely finished with our home, we’ve been so pleased with the overall aesthetic and craftsmanship of the work that he has completed thus far. Angel clearly stands by his work and takes pride in the business that he’s created.

We recently complete a complete backyard remodel project with Promised Path and couldn’t be happier with the result. From design, to demolition, to construction to completion, Promised Path handled it all and the results are getting jaw-dropping reactions from our friends and family. Our job involved new concrete, a deck with spa, a custom bbq island and fire pit, new irrigation/drains, landscaping and lighting. It was a pleasure working with Angel, his project manager Salvador and their hardworking and courteous crew. Highly recommend!

Angel and Promised Path did an amazing job with our landscape project. Angel ensured that the quality and attention to detail was spot on. We were looking for a sleek and contemporary look in landscaping our new home and Promised Path delivered! Angel, the owner, is great to work with. He has an excellent eye for design and detail, is very communicative, and knowledgeable. Salvador, the project manager, was equally amazing, easy to talk to, and extremely organized. The crew were very hardworking, respectful, and dedicated in making the project a reality. Of course any large scale projects has a few hiccups. They were responsive when the few minor ones did arise and followed through to its resolution each time. They collaborated well with us, as well as the other contractors including our pool builder. The end result is that we are very happy and love the beautiful outdoor spaces that they created for us. We truly appreciate all that Promised Path has done to make it happen!

We hired angel from Promised Path Landscaping on June 29th 2021. We gave him a deposit of $1,000 to design our backyard. July came and we had not heard from him. We have not received any plans from him. We called and he did not respond, we texted he did not respond. September 19th we asked for $1,000 deposit to be returned he refused.
Angel if you are reading this I would still like to have my thousand dollars back. Until then, I will continue to post on every site that you advertised on.

The team at Promised Path Landscape was fantastic, and we’d highly recommend them for any type of landscape and hardscape construction. We all know that living through construction is never “fun”, but Promised Path was great to work with, and most importantly they weren’t happy until we were. We had a new home without ANY exterior work completed when we bought it. We needed everything – we had nothing but DIRT everywhere!

They completely transformed our front, back and side yards. They did concrete work (traditional, Santa Barbara finish, smooth finish and board-form finish) custom tile work, retaining walls, drainage, exterior lighting and all-new landscaping and watering systems. They even built custom fences and fire-pit and put in a turf putting green and dog area!!

I hired Promised Path to do both hardscaping and landscaping at my house. The job included building a multi-tiered walkway from the sidewalk to the front door (including lights and pilasters), building a retaining wall in the backyard, and installing decorative travertine in certain areas of the walway. After the hardscape construction was complete, Promised Path planted a few dozen plants throughout the yard, installed a drip sprinkler system, and installed landscape lighting.

I was extremely pleased with the work Promised Path did. Our yard came out even better than we had hoped. Promised Path had many suggestions, such as which style retaining wall would look good, which we really appreciate.

The customer service from Angel and Salvador was superb. They were really helpful and flexible through the entire project, and were willing to do many little things to really make our house look great. Some of these things were in the original plan and some were not.

I have worked with many contractors and would only recommend a few of them. Promised Path is definitely one of those companies.

Angle and his landscape crew created exactly what was designed and with such professionalism on a difficult project in Del Mar. This was a layout with very specific details and an intricate build. As a designer, I am always searching for professional landscape companies to work with to install the vision I have laid out for the client. So far, I have only been impressed by a few out there and Promised Path is one of the good ones. The work was done very well and Angle was very easy to work with. I look forward to the next project that we can work together on.

Angel, the owner, and I had a very open conversation during our 1st meeting where I shared my design ideas and how we were going to use our backyard. While other landscaping companies would not even bother to quote or respond back, he came to our 2nd meeting with finished plans with complete details including additional design ideas, plant selection and suggestions on how to make my landscape design better along with a very attractive quote.

The project started on time and finished 2 weeks earlier than planned. They never pulled the crew (great guys, very considerate, great workmanship, always on time) from my project. Did not come up with any hidden charges and were great to work with through out the entire time even including the slight revisions I made during the construction. Salvador, the project manager, was on-site almost every day but was in constant contact during the entire project regardless and always got back to me very quickly each time.

I highly recommend them and now would not bother calling anyone else.

After multiple bids from other landscape companies, we ultimately decided to hire Promised Path for our complete front and backyard landscape renovation. After many conversations with Salvador and Angel, my husband and I felt confident that having Salvador as the Project Manager our project would be completed on time, within budget and up to our standards. Our experience with other landscape contractors at other homes has taught us that communication between both parties will ensure the project is done properly. And that is exactly what happened.

Salvador was on-site almost daily and was in constant communication with us during the entire project. I would text/call him with questions, requesting changes, etc. and he was always on top of getting back to us. He really made our experience excellent.

The crew at Promised Path arrived each day on time and worked hard. I was extremely impressed by the team’s dedication to our project. Our neighbors have hired contractors that take on too many concurrent projects and end up having a single worker barely making progress. We were thrilled to came home each day to see the enormous amount of work that had been completed.

Angel and his crew brought our design to life in record time and it looks beautiful! We used another company for the design and had Angel bid on the design last minute – we wanted to get started right away. He was the lower and most honest bid so we went with him. His crew was great and did very quick work that turned out to also be very high quality. I debated on a 4 star review only for a moment because I do with that Angel had communicated more at each phase of the project because I felt like it was almost happening too fast and some of the details we lost control of. In hindsight I would have taken more initiative and been more of a watch dog. But regardless, the project turned out amazing and we are in love with our new backyard and I would refer anyone to him.

We began discussions with Promised Path in July of 2017 to do a complete backyard remodel. Our pool deck and surrounding area were in desperate need of an upgrade from the original 1976 build. Right from the start, we felt understood and comfortable with Sal. He was knowledgeable, listened to our ideas and offered some great ones of his own. We broke ground in September and by mid-November had a gorgeous backyard! The professionalism shown from the top down cannot be highlighted enough.
