I’ve been working at Right Choice Pools for just about 3 years now. Pretty much during this entire time during the Covid pandemic and through all of the issues and problems. With the delays due to a lack of materials and delays caused by the supply chain and also finding qualified workers has been a full time job. Matt and Nancy, who own Right Choice Pools and the ENTIRE TEAM work tirelessly trying to complete these pool projects, constantly solving all of the problems that arise. Our entire team always make sure that the finished pools and spas look always look amazing!

I have to tell you that anytime that anyone has ever called regarding a warranty issue or something that needed to be fixed, I’ve never seen ownership hesitate for a second to get it resolved for them.

So, even though I work for Right Choice Pools, I just wanted to say and let people know exactly how I feel about working here.

Where do I start? I’m currently suing RCP for the over $17k in damages they caused to my property while building my pool. Dealing with Right Choice Pools (I like to say wrong choice pools) was an absolute nightmare. Matt the “owner” runs an unorganized, unprofessional, sloppy and dishonest business. The way they talk to and address their customers is pathetic. From the first day of construction there were issues. Day one his crew ran over my side fence with their excavator, piled rock on top of the fence in the front of my property causing it to be replaced. Matt said per their contract that their negligent behavior should be overlooked. It only got worse from there…
-they didn’t cut the pile caps to correctly tie in the rebar (Matt somehow said this was my fault)
-they forgot to install my bubbler plumbing after the pool was poured so they had to jackhammer my sun deck
-they destroyed my existing house plumbing to run their lines.(again somehow my fault)
-there were several pool leaks after completion that caused major repairs to pavers and artificial turf.

I don’t have enough time to list all of the issues I had and the ridiculous remarks Matt would make to try and diminish their unprofessionalism. This is a horribly run company that doesn’t deserve to be in business. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my enemy. Run, don’t walk away.

Please do your research before hiring them. You’ll see multiple law suits and costumer issues similar to mine.

Building a pool on an ocean front property during a pandemic is not fun and take long time. I am glad that I choose Right Choice Pool to build it. Matt and his crew have been very patient and help me to go thru the process.
Now we are in the middle of building my pool and I am pleased with the outcome as RCP is doing a very good job and communicate well. I cannot wait to see the pool finished so my family can enjoy it.

We chose Right Choice Pools to perform our pool and deck renovation after meeting with a few companies, and we are quite pleased with the final result.
Matt was patient, informative and communicative through every step of the entire process. Matt even gave us some discounts and rebates that where available to help meet our budget. We replaced the pool plumbing, the pump, added a vacuum line, LED pool light and salt system and we resurfaced the pool and replaced the pool tile and coping. We also decided to upgrade our pool deck to the beautiful white travertine.
Through the entire project we received updates on what to expect, were informed of when inspectors would arrive and any questions or concerns we had were answered and taken care of immediately.
The end result has given to us was an absolutely beautiful pool and patio area. We are thankful for Matt and Nancy and everyone at Right Choice Pools for doing a great job and giving us an amazing pool for us to enjoy.

I was looking to install a new paver patio deck and met with a few contractors and received several estimates but ultimately decided to go with Right Choice Pools & Spas, Inc. and I am more than pleased with my decision. Matt and Nancy were extremely thorough when it came to explaining what the job would entail from the signing of the contract to the final inspection. They were always communicative throughout the project and answered any of my questions that I had along the way. Their team showed up when I was told they would and were meticulous with their workmanship. I contracted for a new saltwater pool with this company and dealt with owners Matt and Nancy Barrass. We designed a pool to fit the yard. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were very fair in pricing and very accurate in the pool building process. They very clearly warned about delays do to weather and acts of God beyond their control. They took care of everything from permits, engineering, electrical, excavation and decking. I loved the results and recommend them highly.

We are very excited! We just went under contract with RCP and can’t wait to see how they reform our backyard! Matt in very responsive during this whole process. He has anticipated a lot of our concerns and addressed them before we even asked. He has helped every step of the way for financing and other odd requests we have for our dream backyard. I am grateful to have them complete this project for us!

Highly recommended. Great service. We love our pool. Since they finish we use it a lot.

The pool usage is important but also is how you build the surrounding areas. They have great ideas.

RCP built my pool and I could honestly say that I am truly happy with the finished product. My family and I have really enjoyed our beautiful pool. We did not have any issues with the construction process. Anytime I had any questions RCP would respond promptly over the phone or via email. My pool has been built for almost three years, now. In the past couple of months I had an issue with my pool pump and another time with my salt Chlorinator that was no fault of RCP. In both times I reached out to RCP and they had a service technician come over. Part of the pool pump and the salt Chlorinator were replaced at no cost to me. I would definitely recommend RCP for your pool build.

Used RCP to remodel and design our pool. What started as a small project grew much bigger thanks to my wife 🙂 but Nancy and Matt great from the design, installation and even months after the job was done. We have enjoyed the pool with friend and family, everyone remarks how nice the pool is when they see it.

Five stars because I have an awesome pool and that’s what matters. Took longer than I wanted (so has everything else I’ve ever done), and cost more than I wanted, (again, so has everything else I’ve ever done) I feel bad when I think of the hard time I gave Nancy (and Matt) about the paver I decided I wanted to change to. They insisted I was mistaken and boy were they right! Everyone that sees our pool is blown away!

Right Choice Pools was so great to work with and years later Matt still touches base to see how everything is going. Great customer service and I would definitely recommend Matt and Nancy to build or remodel your pool.
