We first engaged with Matt, Sonoran Gardens, right after we purchased our home in the Foothills. From the beginning Matt was so attentive and he really listened to what we were looking for.

He took our ideas/thoughts and brought them back to his team and had them design a plan including placement, species/varieties, lighting, irrigation and cost.

It was exactly what we were thinking. Matt’s team did an amazing job of preparing the grounds, installing the plants, placement of the rocks/boulders, the lighting, the irrigation.

EVERYONE has commented about how beautiful it looks during the day and at night with the lighting, it is nothing short of stunning. We have had neighbors who live up the street and have a full view of our home, stop and comment about how exquisite the grounds look and what a beautiful job was done.

Kira has been awesome to work with. She has accommodated our request for assistance when we needed a team out here to clean up the grounds, maintain the landscaping and the billing has been easy and she is so pleasant to work with. She is there to assist in any way she is able. Her and Matt make an awesome team.

Anytime we have questions on the irrigation, or the health of a plant (and replacing/changing), lighting, changes, etc. Matt and Kira are all over it and they get things taken care of asap. They are total professionals and we are going to do more landscaping (hopefully soon) and will absolutely engage with Sonoran Gardens again and again.

My husband and I recently moved into a new construction home and we knew we needed to transform the dirt wasteland of a backyard. We contacted a few companies for estimates on landscaping, and Sonoran Gardens immediately caught our attention. Matt, the Construction Manager, was very responsive and came to our home with Allen Denomy (Owner and Principal Designer of Denomy Designs) to walk the backyard and hear our ideas. Both Matt and Allen were extremely professional and helpful in offering suggestions on how to make our ideas come to life.

We worked with Allen to design the backyard and were blown away at how quickly he put our designs together. He was very detail-oriented and offered a lot of creative ideas that we would have never conceived on our own. The design process was iterative, and we felt Allen heard and implemented our feedback so we always felt comfortable that we would end up with a design that would actually work and look beautiful.

Once our design was finalized, Matt scheduled and coordinated all of the materials and labor. He quoted us 3 weeks to finish the backyard. To our pleasant surprise, everything went according to plan (and budget!) and they finished everything on the promised date. Matt was very communicative throughout the construction process, and it was easy to get ahold of him if we had any questions.

From start to finish, the entire process was so smooth, and we are so happy with our backyard. We will be working with Sonoran Gardens in the future for “phase 2” so we can enhance the yard with lighting and synthetic grass. Do not hesitate to give Sonoran Gardens your business!

Outstanding on every level! Kira and Juan are most kind and competent….a great team! The work done in our front and back yards was quite extensive. Lesley and Alex worked tirelessly in the blazing heat and were most competent, expeditious and thorough…..impressive, to say the least! Sonoran Gardens did the original install when we built our home 13 yrs ago and, as long as they have been involved, our landscape has been beautiful. A few years ago, we went a different landscape maintenance route to give some of our nephews a chance to make some money during college……..we are so grateful that they have graduated and we get to have Sonoran Gardens back doing what they do so well!

We have been using Sonoran Gardens for over two years now to maintain our landscape. They do a beauriful job of both the grounds, land sacpe and our potted plants. The staff is knowledgable, aattentive and the results get comments from our neighbbors, we actually have people stoppping by to photograph our potted plants. If your looking for a service that understands the customer and their plants, I woudl highly recommned Sonoran Gardens.

Sonoran Gardens did the construction of my front and back yards many years ago. It was a difficult project as the backyard was very large and originally just a heap of dirt and natural growth. A beautiful yard was created with walls, steps, walkways, flagstone, potted flowers and lots of plants. Over the years, I have received numerous compliments on my yard. I have continued to have Sonoran Gardens maintain the upkeep of my yard. The staff is professional, courteous and keeps the plants maintained in their original natural state. I would highly recommend them.

We commissioned Sonoran Gardens to execute an ambitious landscape design and they did so within budget and on time. It was a project approaching $100K and involved not only extensive irrigation and plantings (including sizable trees, succulents, vines, and other plants) but also the construction of a Chip Seal driveway and the application of DG and rock around our property. They also assisted us in the selection of ceramic pots that they then planted with annuals both in our front entry and around our expansive backyard pool area. We have also retained Sonoran Gardens to maintain all of our plantings and they’ve done an excellent job of keeping things looking nice. The communication on the maintenance side has been especially good with the company asking us in advance of items that we’d like for them to focus on. They have a member of staff who also does a greatt job of keeping our many pots looking healthy and attractive.

Sonoran Gardens was recommended to me by a master gardener who is a long-time Tucson resident. Matt Niccum oversaw our extensive installation of designer-chosen trees, plants, cacti, shrubs, berms, irrigation and lighting. He is a wise and terrific resource and has an excellent design sense. He’s a great listener and always follows through. His crew worked hard, and they are maintaining our property while we are away, so I have great faith in them. Kira manages the office with grace and attention to detail. I highly recommend them!
