We were referred to Fetter Construction when looking for a contractor to do a major renovation on our 1921 home. After meeting with Ross Fetter I knew he would be the best choice for the project. We wanted to add a master suite to the second floor, redesign the gutted pool/guest house, remodel the pool and a bathroom and make essential repairs. It was important for the second story addition to flow with the style and characteristics of the existing home, as well as the remodel of the pool house. Ross designed every aspect of the project and drew all of the plans for the building department himself. While I had a good idea of the colors and style of how I wanted my home to look Ross was great at teaching me about different products and helped with making selections on materials and finishes. He also arranged for our historical siding to be specially manufactured so that we would keep a seamless flow around the home and property. Our addition blends perfectly. I was consistently impressed with Ross and his crew. I would highly recommend Fetter Construction for any design-build projects in the future!

I am currently working with Fetter Construction to rebuild my home that burned last year.
It is impossible to explain how losing a home to a fire can turn one’s world upside down.
And, I had no idea how many charlatans would descend even while my beloved home was burning & through many weeks after!
Thank goodness I listened to my Farmers Insurance agent and hired Fetter Construction who is one of their “approved” contractors! As I have learned, insurance companies have preferred vendors for very good reasons–in a nutshell, they have positive track records of doing great jobs for policy holders as well as knowing how to navigate the best results via the policy underwriters. Believe me–this is NOT a small thing! Good insurers want to meet their obligations and a contractor who knows the ropes gets great results for both the insured and insurer. I would never have expected this if I had not experienced it first hand!! (As I was checking Fetter’s references, I heard so many positive comments that I must admit I was somewhat skeptical–who could be THAT good?!)
Well, I could not be more pleased! Ross, the Principal has been extremely responsive in dealing with my needs, wishes, budget & even my quirky requests.
Every single interaction with Fetter Construction and everything they have done to date is first class quality without exception.
I am now very close to being able to move back into my new and improved home. I can hardly wait!!!
I’m sure I’ll have even more positive comments as well as photos to share once I’m back HOME!!!

Performed a re-building of my Father-in-Law’s home after it was gutted by an electrical fire. Ross and his Team were outstanding at getting the job secured, got the permitting process begun and cleaned up and catagorized all of the items which were in the House.
Follow-up was professional and all of the coordination through out the re-construction was great. Ross even assisted in being sure colors and decor matched when he noticed differences to choices. Dealing with the Insurance and Bank was also handled by his daughter Tiffany who coordinated everything financially for draws and signatures by the Bank.

My husband and I moved into a beautiful home with a blank canvas for the backyard. We decided on a pool for our yard and needed some help. We were referred to Ultimate by a friend so I reached out to them. The lady was awesome, so kind and tentative, but her representative that was sent out – Chuck McCrory was less desirable. He came out and was probably with h my husband and I for approximately 10 minutes – 15 max. He asked us what we were looking for, where about we were looking to place the pull etc. We answered all the questions and he advised us he would get back to us.Two weeks passed and I hadn’t heard anything so I reached out to the kind lady I was dealing with before – she advised me that Chuck had sent us an email a week back. I apologized and went to look in my email -no email. I decided to then reach out to Chuck directly His response was shocking – I have not measured the yard yet. I do not know where you want to put the spa in the pool- decided on another co.

Love love love my pool. I had heard so many horror stories regarding pool contractors. I was so so happy with the process from beginning to end. Chuck designed an amazing pool for us, the construction went so very smoothly and ahead of schedule, and the support and instruction upon completion went wonderful. They truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you Ross and Chuck!!!!

Our bathroom was stuck in the 80’s. We had a large bathtub that was rarely used and a shower that was smaller than a old phone booth! Fetter Construction came in and took our ideas and ran with it. They gave us a couple of options to choose from. After finalizing the design and selecting our tiles, hardware, & cabinets the work began. The entire project took about 3 months to complete.

From demo to completion the crew was very respectful of our property and master bedroom. They were always available to meet in person or on the phone when I had questions. Communication is very important and they made sure I had answers to my questions. The craftsmanship of the renovation including custom tile work, storage cabinet, vanity, etc. were top notch. Ross and his crew are professional, have integrity, and proud of the work they do for their clients.

We hired Fetter Construction to remodel our kitchen in 2012. While we had some ideas as to what we wanted, Ross was extremely helpful in making suggestions as to what we should consider. He also had ideas that we adopted. In particular, installing a stone facade next to the kitchen in our entryway. We have had many compliments on it. The subcontractors that Ross used or suggested to us were polite and efficient and the remodel was completed cleanly, on-time, and in-line with what we had expected to pay. This is the second interior remodel done by Fetter Construction in our home and we would recommend them to anyone considering an interior remodel.
