My husband and I hired Great Escapes to build our 82′ (25meter) by 26′ lap pool. We asked for some kind of water feature with a jumping platform, slide, 12 person spa and also to finish off our outdoor dining space. It took 5 months to complete the job as we received a lot of rain and had to deal with some difficult neighbors. Overall, Linda and Norm were great to deal with. They are both very knowledgeable and easy to work with. This was an awesome experience as we were able to pick the products we wanted and stay within the bid they gave us. They never pushed us to pay more and we feel like we got the best. We realize we spent more than the average person but we have 6 children and our family participates in triathlons so this pool is for training as well as lots of fun in the sun! This is our staycation! We love it and it turned out perfectly! We could not say enough about this experience and working with this company! Would do this all over again with Great Escapes!

This was our second experience with the pool building process and I can’t say enough about the job that Great Escapes did for us. Having gone through the process previously, we had a fairly good idea of what we were looking for (functional requirements, likes, dislikes, etc.). To add further complication, we had a concurrent project in the works with a separate contractor to build a separate detached garage/patio. Linda did a awesome job of translating the pool requirements along with the concurrent project plans and additional recommendations into a awesome design at a lower than expected price. To be honest, I was worried about coordination between the two projects but Norm worked with us to make the process as seamless as possible. I was also pleasantly surprised with some of the additional standard details that weren’t explicitly called out on the plans such as extra step in the spa. Finally, the pool operation/maintenance knowledge that we gained during commissioning and pool school along with the final documentation package provided was head and shoulders above what I received from my first pool building experience.
We have and will recommend Great Escapes to anyone considering building a pool.

Great Escapes Team is very good to work with, from design, selection of all items, pricing, construction and completion; they were very good. The true tell of a contractor is how they react when something goes wrong. They had a key subcontractor install a portion incorrect. They stayed with their agreement with us and corrected the issue; even at additional cost to them. We had a pool and outdoor kitchen with wood burning fireplace and they managed the entire project. They were referred to me by a mutual friend, and I certainly wouldn’t hesitate referring them to anyone. They are true professionals who know the business and how to manage a project from design thru completion.

Great Escapes did a great job on our back yard escape…turned a green patch into a Hill Country getaway that we enjoy coming home to everyday. The weather couldn’t have been worse for building a pool and amenities but their team came through. This company even went the extra mile to get us up and running in time for a planned birthday party. Awesome job and would definitely use this company again!

Great Escapes was and is nothing short of fantastic! We bagan the pool building process at the beginning of fall, thinking it would be a great time with little rain. Boy, were we wrong! It rained what felt like almost every single day of the build. Great Escapes was always there for us, keeping us up to date on progress and assuring us that things were still coming together despite mother nature’s best efforts. We finally got through with the build and the final product far, far, far exceeded our expectations which were already quite lofty. Everything from the phenomenal design to the quality craftsmanship and the attention to detail were absolutely top notch. The best part for me however, has been the service after the fact. I am a first time pool owner and have had a ton of questions because well, it’s all new to me. Linda, Norm, Cameron, and everyone else has always been available for any question, comment, or concern, whether big or small. I’ve appreciated this aspect most of all. I could not be happier with my pool and I can promise you that you will feel much the same!

We built our first pool this winter (2016). We have heard many stories about pool companies and how they cut corners and don’t pay attention to the work details. Well this company is the exact opposite. Linda was absolutely fantastic to work with, She answered all of my questions which sometimes was quite a lot. They paid close attention to details that I would have never thought to do or see. Each step was done when they said it was going to happen and the order to which is was supposed to be done. We stayed on budget and on time. Cameron was our project manager and by the end he felt like family. He was kind, knowledgeable and easy to work with. On a side note we finished in December and there is no landscaping because of winter. We cant wait for summer vacation to spend more time in our beautiful pool.
