Cypress Pools provided great 3D designs but were very poor at meeting delivery dates and responding to concerns. Without fail the timing I was told for a design to be provided ended up being 3 – 7 days late. When asked about the delays the answer was always we have a lot of construction kicking off and it will get better. Finally after about 3 months I email and called trying to discuss our concerns with the delays and they never reach back out to discuss. At this point we told them we were going to talk to other pool builders and that’s when they finally emailed us back. Their response basically told us it was our fault because we asked for to many revisions to the design. For a $100k+ pool I should be able to revise the design until I’m completely happy with it!! They went on to say that they had stop working on the design because they didn’t think we could afford the design even though we hadn’t even been provided a cost estimate.

Cypress Custom Pools seems to design great pools but unfortunately I didn’t get that far with them. If you know exactly what you want or have a straight forward design you will probably will have a great experience but if you will need help figuring out what you like or a difficult design situation works I suggest going elsewhere.

The old saying of you get what you pay for it’s absolutely true for Cypress Custom Pools. They are not the least expensive pool construction company around, but I definitely believe they are the best.

Over the last 10 years I have used them twice to install a pool. That alone should say something. I wouldn’t spend that much money with the same company twice if I didn’t believe in their product. This is our third pool to put in. The first one was with another company that was just okay. As I mentioned I have used this company twice since 2007 and would do it a third time too. Their attention to detail, use of quality material, and focus on the customer is beyond outstanding.

Their customer service is some of the best I have ever experienced. (and I know exceptional customer service, because I make my living improving customer service)

On several occasion they have helped me out on things that should have been outside of normal service or warranty. Most recently I was having a problem and it was 3:30 PM on a Friday before a holiday. Brian, the owner took the time to call me while he was driving between Austin and Houston and walk me through the steps I need to take to resolve the problem. He then followed up with me again later that night to make sure that everything was working.

In summary, I will always recommend this company to anyone needing a pool construction company!

Cypress Custom Pools Built a pool for us that was poor quality. Almost everything (chlorinator, heater, polaris) was replaced within 4 years. Our pool needed resurfacing after 6 years. I do not recommend them.
