I write with the highest recommendation for Dave Smith and Gourmet Landscaping. I had an idea of what I wanted my yard to feel like, but no idea how to get there. Dave has an incredible sense of design and aesthetic. It’s clear how much he loves what he does and it reflects in the quality of his work. I was nervous about having artificial turf installed, but he understood my concerns and select a turn product and created a design that integrated it seamlessly into live plantings. I love it. I had no idea what I needed for lighting and have been frustrated that no one (over many years) could give me answers. Dave created a gorgeous ambiance through lighting, giving me exactly the feeling I was hoping to achieve — but better. He stayed in close communication with me throughout the project relative to direction and budget, and the only surprises I ever had were happy ones! With his guidance as to what would work in my setting and suit my taste, we selected plants together. I give five stars to Gourmet Landscaping, and look forward to working with them again – which I surely will!

Gourmet Landscaping did an amazing job with both our front and backyard. Not only did they understand our aesthetic, but they came up with custom landscape designs that reflect it. Bottom line; we wanted something different. We were amazed with what we were presented.

In addition to landscaping we had custom landscaping installed. The owner conducted a ton of research and personally attended seminars from different vendors to find us the most cutting-edge outdoor lighting. Day or night our house looks incredible and gets noticed by everybody.

Due to Hurricane Irma, an oak tree in our yard fell over, taking with it our artificial grass. Our backyard was in shambles. Dave re designed our backyard and when the project was done, we felt like we lived in a resort. Dave is very knowledgeable about plants and trees and he has a keen eye for textures and layout. We described the trees and plants we wanted and he found them and sent us pictures of our options. We didn’t need to be home to pick out plants, he just sent us photos. Dave didn’t make any decision without consulting with us.
We did get other estimates and we found that Dave was within our budget for what we needed. In addition, other estimates only covered the installation of the grass, whereas as Dave’s estimate included the landscape design.
Every day when I get home, I look forward to walking into my yard and just relaxing. I thought my yard was pretty before, but I never imagined it could look even better. It’s truly an oasis and my own personal paradise.
