Jason Brownlee prepared the graphic designs and sketches (including a video package) for our home renovation project, which includes a new pool installation, hardscape, landscaping and an extensive remodel of a multi-level back porch. Jason’s work was outstanding. We went through several design iterations, and Jason did an outstanding job of capturing our design ideas, while adding several value-added suggestions that we incorporated. The finished product was extremely well done. I would enthusiastically recommend Jason!

Jason designed our pool and outdoor pavilion after spending time with us getting to know exactly what we wanted. He worked with us to get it just like we wanted and was very patient each time we made changes and got back with us promptly after each change to the design. Once we were ready to move forward he worked with us to start the project as quickly as possible. The end result was even more beautiful than we expected and very professionally done. I would recommend using him if you are in the market for a quality outdoor living space. Our area includes the pool with tanning deck, swim up bar, waterfall, and slide. We also have a gas fire pit, outdoor kitchen, pavilion, bathroom, and storage area.

My wife and I have discussed a pool and home addition for the past few years. Our cabinet maker recommended we use Houzz for ideas. We did and saw pictures of projects done by Jason Brownlee Design. We did hire Jason and he flew to our home in March. He was quick to understand concepts we liked and didn’t like. He was meticulous in his details related to size of our area to use. Jason by all standards hit a home run in the final design of our outdoor area. We live on a river and Jason tied that look/feel right into the pool design. We liked it so much we have asked for additional help on the overall project look for the house design. We have six children. Jason was sensitive to listen to their list of wants and they were involved in the presentation of the final look. They know Jason by name and continue to ask when is Jason going to build this:-) Well I’m quick to point out Jason is good at drawing so he better stick to that!! Our backyard pool and hardscape project was designed by Jason Brownlee. He was very personable and extremely easy to work with. We had not engaged in a project of this magnitude before and Jason walked us through the process which gave us confidence in the end result. He listened to our design requirements and wishlist and developed a design that exceeded our expectations and compliment our backyard and house. He also included unique design elements that makes our pool and patio area standout in our neighborhood. Jason’s design also respected our budget so we never felt we were sacrificing a cohesive design or feature due to cost. Our design included large patio areas around a modified rectangular pool with sun shelf and swim-up bar. Stacked stone planters add elevation interest around the pool. The design also includes a covered free-standing patio with stacked stone fireplace and hidden drop-down movie screen. I would use Jason Brownlee again for future hardscape/landscape/pool projects. I do recommend ensuring that Jason remain engaged throughout the project to ensure the builder/contractor completes the project inline with Jason’s design as decisions inevitably arise during construction. You want Jason helping you make those decisions.

We used J Browlee to create a design for our backyard that included a pool, an outdoor kitchen, and a complete outdoor living space. He created a design that perfectly complimented our existing house and outdoor features. He helped us with everything included in the design when we began construction. He had contractors to use and he oversaw the project from start to finish. He has made it truly an easy experience. Jason provided us with a stunning, custom landscape/ hard scape design. While building our new home we realized it would be a great advantage to have a design concept for our lot and outdoor recreational spaces. Jason did not disappoint! From the driveway concept all the way to a stunning pool and backyard oasis, he nailed it! We received such a gorgeous, detailed plan for our entire lot. Jason is a brilliant designer and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to anyone!

We hired Jason to design a large new porch on the rear of our home and to fix a very poor pool/landscape design in our backyard. We have a very large backyard (2+ acres) and the original owner built an undersized pool and located it in an odd place in relation to the home. Jason had his work cut out for him. What Jason came up with was absolutely incredible. He designed a plan that far exceeded our expectations! He was able to take our current lackluster pool layout and transform it into an unbelievable backyard paradise. We’ve worked with several landscape designers over the years and Jason is hands down the best.

We used Jason Brownlee of J. Brownlee Design to design an outdoor living space for us. His design included a patio across the back of the house, and a custom pool with expanded decking. We are very pleased with the final project. It is a beautiful design that gives us an ideal space for entertaining and enjoying being outside.
